Everything Bagel Seasoning
One of my favorite discoveries in the past 6 months was at Trader Joe's. We all know that TJ's is full of amazing options and, sometimes, they release a treasure that is so amazing you have to tell everyone about it!
Well, here it is... Everything but the bagel seasoning. At first I was confused as to what I would use this with.... Do I put it on toast?
But after some instagram research, I found that this was great on just about anything!
- Sprinkled on top of avocado toast
- Mixed in to cottage cheese
- As a seasoning for eggs
- As a crust for meat
- Topping for homemade keto bagels (like those seen here)
- Flavor enhancer for salads
Now, I know that not everyone has access to Trader Joe's, so I thought I would give you a homemade version of this seasoning blend!
Everything Bagel Seasoning
Total Time: 5 minutes
Serves: 19 tablespoons
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup poppy seeds
- 1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup dried garlic powder
- 1/4 cup dried onion flakes
- 3 tbsp sea salt
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a jar and shake to mix well.
